"Heard In Nauvoo"
- There is a Prophet in Town, how blessed to have President Monson with us in Nauvoo for 2 days.
- The 20 Young Sister Missionaries are marvelous missionaries, they will be a great asset to their missions when they leave Nauvoo.
- Were did all the Young Performing Missionaries go? They made the summer so fun, the shows were great, they were great. We are going to miss them. We will still have to think young.
- Family Reunions, Tabernacle Choir, Girls Camp and Youth Conferences. What a beautiful place to have all of these and to show them "Old Nauvoo, the Spirit of Nauvoo"
- 97 degrees, with the humidity it makes it 106, we had better shut down the wagon rides. "Did you ever think about shutting down the 2 legged sights? They are pretty protective of the horses.
- "Sunset by the Mississippi" is starting each night on the out door stage, people are coming into town and we are getting busy, the missionaries are loving it.
- Nauvoo is so green, no wonder the saints loved it here, even saints today come and stay.
- 5 inches of rain in less than a day, do we pray for rain to stop, we are not quit used to that being from Idaho.
- "He hasn't been out here very long to be a counselor in the mission presidency, but he sure will be a good one"
- "Look at the beautiful flowering trees, the green grass the daffodils"
- "18 Young Sister Missionaries just arrived, it will pep up the old missionaries steps."
- Rain, Rain, listen to the rolling thunder, and see the lightning
